Security Bond System for Visitors

Hiya,

Its been on the news from foreign media outside UK most that the UK government has imposed a security bond system for visitors and they have to pay £3000 per person at a time of visit. Is that true? if it is then please let me know when this should be applicable? when and how one should pay? Is it applicable for new applicant or for someone who already gained the visit visa? Any links to official UK websites would be beneficial.

It is false, as it is being debated on but has not been passed into law.
