Work related absences

Post by race322 » Thu Jul 04, 2013 9:18 pm

Hi,

I first came to UK in Mar 2009 with Tier 2 (ICT) and then switched my visa to Tier 1 General on 11 Nov 2009.

I worked with my first employer between Mar 2009 and 29 Oct 2010. Then I joined my current employer on 5th Nov 2010.

Between 30th Oct 2010 and 3rd Nov 2010 (5 days), I went to holiday trip to Swiss.

I am confused how this 5 days would be considered with respect to the new rules regarding work related absences, I was not on paid leave between these days but had an offer to join the current employer on 5th Nov 2010.

Please let me know whether i would be eligible for ILR next year or this would be considered as break in my 5 years period.

Appreciate your response on this.
Thanks in Advance.

Just say Annual leave or annual vacation for the 5 days.
