Citizenship Ceremony (August 2013)

The next Citizenship Ceremony will be held on the 27th August 2013.

just wondering if they'll also schedule ceremonies for October and November like last year. Last year ceremonies were on August 30, October 15 and December 12. This year it's even on August 27th. If they follow the same trend we might have 2 more ceremonies after August

Is this date definete, I have been asking and all i got so far was late August but no definete date so are you 100% about this date.

Approval will be sent anytime from now until the last week prior to the date of the ceremony

to those who got their confimation letters and send the draft order. if you are an EU citizen do you have to send a travel document?

No!. Travel documents are for refugees/family reunification only.

AN EU Citizen does not need to submit a travel document.

Do you know when the invitations for the 27th August ceremony will arrive. My husband send off all paperwork on 10th June so am wondering when we will get his invitaion

Do you know can you bring someone with you to the ceremony or is it only the person that is getting the citizenship who attends?

You have to wait until the final week of august to see if any letter arrives.
Its now first come first serve basis i.e Ceremony invitations will be issued to the people that submitted their fees and documents earlier before you, dating from the first of March.

Yes, only one guest is required but it is not strict.
