Leave to remain mispelling mistake help

Hello Everyone

Last time in 2011, when I want to renew my leave to remain on humanitarian ground, I received letter from INIS with following:

"... decide to renew your temporary permission to remain in the State for three years until 13 July 2013"

This letter was posted to me in July 2011 !
If it was for three years then it should be stated "until July 2014"

Anyway I went to Burg quay to renew my green card and they gave me stamp 4 card until July 2014.

My question is: when do I have to apply for renewal? in 2014 or 2013?
