Dependent PSW transfer to tier 2 dependent

Hi,

My wife is the UK on PSW and I hold a dependent PSW visa. I am currently in India. Her employer is sponsoring her visa in a months time.
1) will her visa application be a transfer from PSW to Tier 2 or a new tier-2 application?
2) can I transfer my visa from within India as dependent from PSW to Tier 2 while she continues to stay in UK?
3) or will I have to apply for a new dependent tier 2 visa from india?

She will switch her visa from psw to tier 2
You can but easier if u get it done in uk
If u don't apply with her yes u ll need to get entry clearance

Hi,

Thanks. tried searching for category or the type of application I need to do for response in point 2. It is probably going to end up me being in India while my wifes sponsor gets her visa switch in the UK. So, can you please provide further details on how i need to go about or any link we these details as I could not find any on UKBA site.
