working abroad and applying for ILR

Post by mfawazt » Tue Jul 16, 2013 11:18 am

Hello everybody,
I was granted limited leave to remain for 5 years as refugee, now I have an opportunity to work abroad, how long can I stay abroad and still be able to apply for ILR after the 5 years?

Thank you in advance

I assume that you will not be travelling to the Country you say will persecute you? You should ensure that you do not breach any conditions as I am assuming you will want to apply for ILR at the end of your 5 years.

Thank you for your reply, yes sure i will not travel to that country, but how long can I stay abroad? 180 days in each year? or is there any different roles for refugees?
thank you
