Payslip Query

Post by tier1extend » Fri Jul 19, 2013 11:28 pm

Hi,

I will be applying for my visa extension soon. I had a slight confusion regarding the payslip earnings period

I am planning to show the earnings between June 2012 to May 2013.
I joined this company on May 22nd 2012 (after the salary cut off day)

So my June 2012 payslip has 2 entries like below

Salary x
Salary y

The first probably is for May22-May 31 and second one for June1-June 30.

Though the earnings period on the top clearly says 01 June- 30 June. There is no reference of May. The total gross printed at the bottom is (x+y).

1. would I be able use the total earnings (x+y) as proof
2. would I able to use only the y component.

Thanks

Does your payslip say arrears from previous or just salary components. As you mentioned if it says Period 01-Jun-30 Jun, it can be counted as earnings for one month.

In my instance I changed my job, and had to join in the middle of the month, after the cut off date. I claimed salary as one month's, although it said arrears.
