Employer letter: stamp aswell??

Post by newbie_2013 » Wed Jul 24, 2013 7:34 pm

Hi all

I need to obtain employer letter (as my absences are due to overseas assignment with that overseas employer). Does the letter needed to be stamped aswell? Or just a 'letterheaded' letter with the employer's signature will suffice?

cheers

No need for any stamp. It need to be on the official letter head and signed.

No.
But I am submitting it as my days outside were on a project with overseas employer and I am showing earnings from that employer. Although my absences are below the allowed days, I want to do it as it will strengthen my application as I am using overseas earnings.

Just to confirm, I have submitted letters from my previous employer and current employer - Both of them signed and on letter head, but not stamped. These letters are accepted (got ILR).
