I have DUAL nationality. Can I enter UK on Pakistan passport

Hi All,

I was just wondering if someone could help me. I have dual nationality, British and Pakistani. My Pakistan passport is still valid and has Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR) stamp on it. My British passport is with a travel agent to get a visa for saudi arabia. I expect my passport will be returned to me in about a months time. During this time can I go for a short visit to Pakistan - so Can I leave and enter UK on my pakistani passport.

If i am not wrong, you can. One of my friend did the same few months back

I am not sure, but i think it is offence not to declare ur british nationality when u enter UK. Although unlike USA, which has a rule that u must enter or leave USA using ur american passport if u have once, UK does not have any such policy.
I do think however, that at the immigration, when they type in ur ILR no, it should give a record that u have since applied for nationality.

Maybe its best to take advise from home office?
