SET(M) Section 9 Help Needed Please

Post by ridewithme » Thu Aug 01, 2013 10:35 am

Under Section 9-Personal History......

9.11. How long have you lived in the U.K?

We are planning on including all the years my husband has been here since his Student Visa till date , including the time he was here even after his student visa expired.
And the block where it states to include the dates he was absent......we are putting the dates from when he voluntarily returned to his country to when he came back to U.K after he was issued the spouse visa........
And in the reason column we have stated.......Went back to his country so that he could get married to me in his country.

Is that ok or would you advise otherwise?
Thanks

Sounds ok, although the main interest is the last 2 years.

Thank You so much for the prompt reply D4109125.
Also except the SET(M) form, no other forms are needed to be filled for ILR through partner application ??

Cohabitation proofs spread evenly over two years, 3 months wage slips and corresponding bank statements and LIUK test certificate or equivalent.

You will need the standard passports for both and marriage certificate/civil P.

Well we have,

Gas Bill (last 6 months),
Electricity Bill (Last 6 months),
P60 s....last year and dis year
Payslips (Both of us) for the last 2 years
Joint Bank statements for the last 2 years
Letter from GP confirming my husbands registration
Letter from HM Revenue and Customs confirming my husbands N.I. Number and also TAX code confirmation letters for each one of us.
My Driving Licence and his Provisional Licence
Marriage Cert.
LITUK Pass Cert.

Is that enough or we would need more.

Sort out the cohabitation documents as follows:

For every 4 months of the 2 year period supply:

1 joint letter or a letter each from a total of at least 3 sources.

Don't just throw in 6 months, present it as required. If you're going for a PEO take photocopies of everything.

Payslips, only include the last 3 months and corresponding bank statements.

No, 5 days is not going to be relevant. So long as you have lived permanently together that's fine.

They'll take everything, but I would put them in the order they are asked on the form. You should provide photocopies also.
