If you have not yet applied for HSMP then attach the offer letter and Urgent treatment form along with the application.

If you have already sent your application, then fax it.

That's all. 8)

I am also a person who is applying HSMP. So please don't take my comments for granted.
I still believe that my comments stands good in case of Urgent treatment.

Again...
If you are not confident, you can attach the offer letter and Urgent treatment application form along with HSMp application.
Keep a copy of your offer letter.
And after you get your ref. no., fax your offer letter copy and urgent application form (again)

Time taken for response is less than 2 weeks. It is actaully less than 2 weeks.

If you have an offer letter, which explains your compensations and the employer's contact details.... That should be fine.

Actually I didn't see any specification for an offer letter.
If it is an actual offer letter, it should be fine.
It should be a registered company.
As ussual the offer letter should contain the date of joining, salary, your designation etc etc. These things are not specified any where.

Also it need to contain the contact details of the employer.
As far as I know they will do a cross check with the employer.

As far as i know...in my offer letter...its written:

Start date: as soon as possible (this position is open for 3 months)

no date is mentioned....is it fine or should i ask my employer to give the specific date???

Dear aj_sp_007,

I think the offer letter you have is fine enough.
You just pass a word with your employer so that they will be aware of the call from home office.
Expect that the home office will call your new employer to verify the offer.

Hi aj_sp

You have to first fax a urgent request form mentioning your hsmp reference number.

Then also fax a copy of the offer letter. Even they should have HSMP reference number on top. Offer letter should be on company letter head.

Take a photocopy, write the HSMP ref in pencil. That should be fine.

Hope that helps.

I think you cannot submit urgency application alongwith HSMP form. First submit HSMP form, get reference number, then fax urgency form and offer letter.

You can't send the urgent treatment form with the Initial Application. You need to apply first, then wait for the reference number. Once you receive the Ref No. you then need to fax the urgent treatment form quoting the reference number to 0114 207 6021.

This is the only way of doing it. I've confirmed this on several occasions with the HSMP Team.

Good luck.

BTW I sent my application for initial consideration on the 28th of Feb. Received by the HO on the 1st of March and got my Ref No. 3 days ago i.e. 12-03-07.
When you have an important point to make, don't try to be subtle or clever. Use a pile driver. Hit the point once. Then come back and hit it again. Then hit it a third time - a tremendous whack

aj_sp,
1st option is sending the UT form along with your initial application
2nd is after u get ur reference number...

I think 1st one is better...need not worry..nothing to get confused...proceed with ur application dont delay...
