Tier 2 General, Eligibility for PR

Hi,

I am at present working in UK, having visa category Tier 2 general. I got my tier 2 general visa on 22nd April 2011.

My question is, am I eligible for a PR? I mean can I apply for a PR on 2016?

Only EEA citizens and their dependants under EEA rules are eligible for PR (and EEA citizens / dependants do not require Tier 2 to work in the UK).

If you qualify, you may be eligible for ILR as and when the time comes.

Hi

Yes , you can apply for ILR on 22nd March 2016.

If you have any children born in UK then don't apply ILR for them instead they will British Citizenship once you get PR/ILR.
