According to Bexley, this does seem to be required. However, the Home Office's insistence on retaining an original document does defeat the purpose of a checking service. I'm sure they'll be as stubborn when it comes to the new test in October with the extra evidence, no doubt they'll need a 2 week training course to get their heads around it.

I'm EU, so I didn't have to apply for ILR; when I applied for B.C. they made a copy of my LIUK test and gave me the original back; even though, the folk at the LIUK test centre told me that I had to submit the original document; do you think I should send it to the HO or since it was certified by the NCS, it's fine?
