misunderstandings about my visa

Hi
As I said I have been granted visa to Ireland and finally I got it today but there is some issue which I don't quite understand.
I applied for my D visa as a long stay. In the application form I have written long stay visa and accompany EU citizen (my spouse) and in supporting letter I had written that my child who is irish national must go to school this year as he is 5 years old.
Today I have got my passport with C type visa valid from 14 august to 13 november and below the expiry date (13 november) there should be days to how long I have a permission to stay but there are only signs like this (xx) and entries only 01.
Please advise me what to do? does it mean that I have to leave the state within 3 months? or once the signs are like this (xx) I must go to garda and get registered?
Any advise will be very helpful.

After entering Ireland, you apply for a residence card. You do so within your first three months' residence.

so do you really know that C visa classified as an accompany EU citizen will permit me to get registered in garda,'cos as far as I have read anyone to whom C visa issued have no right or whatsoever to register in garda. that's why I am confused.what the INIS says as an accompany eu citizen The applicant should, if intending to reside in Ireland beyond 90 days, make an application for a Residence Card of a family member of an EU Citizen to the EU Treaty Right Section, 13-14 Burgh Quay, Dublin 2.

You don't need to register with the Garda directly after you arrive. What you need to do is submit the form EU1. If you submit all the document they will send you back a letter which lets your register with the Garda and get a temporary Stamp 4.

Some people have had C visas and other people have had D visas. D visas are more convenient because they are usually 6 months multi-entry, but on the other end the processing time for C visas seems to be shorter; so both have pros and cons. Either way, both types or visas are fine to join an EU family member.

I am not joining my family in Ireland, we will be travelling together? is any obstacles of what we said due to it?

Yes joining or traveling with doesn't really make a difference - you should have no problem.
