annoyed with immigration officer

I came to this country in 2004 on student visa.

At first VISA refused but after a month applied again with correct documents

now ever since i travel back to UK from holiday Immigration officers keep asking me same question

Have you been refused a VISA before ? Why was it refused ? it's so annoying same question every time even after 8 years

Now under EU roles ( family member of EU national ) but still they ask for it
