Visiting Mexico. Is it as Tough as visiting the USA?

Post by JC. » Sun Mar 18, 2007 5:46 pm

If a person wants to visit the USA they have to apply for a visa before hand if they have a criminal record.

However, visiting mexico, as I understand it, you just fill out a form and get an FMT when you get there. Do they have criminal record checks there like america? I cant find a scrap of information on the internet!!!

Hi,

In general, requirements for entering Mexico are not as hard as those of the US or Canada. But to start with, what's your nationality? Are you going for a visit or a long/permanent stay?

Here's some info :

Hope that helps!
