Part qualified accountant- what job title 2 be used for CoS?

Post by ajek01 » Wed Aug 28, 2013 3:25 pm

Hi Everybody

I have a query regarding job title that is to be used, when issuing the CoS please...

I am a part qualified accountant, doing ACCA, I have also completed BSc in applied accounting from Oxford Brookes University.

Currently I am working as management accountant in the company, my current visa is PSW.

My question is what job title should my Company use when issuing a CoS from the following please, since I am not a quailed accountant.

Is it Company Accountant (Because this is the only title which does not specify word –“qualified”)

Related job titles (SOC 2421):

Accountant (qualified)

Auditor (qualified)

Chartered accountant

Company accountant

Cost accountant (qualified)

Financial controller (qualified)

Management accountant (qualified)

I would rally appreciate your reply on the above matter please

Kind regards
Ajek

From my understanding, that is for your company to sort and not for you to worry about. I've taken a look at the SOC codes as well and have no idea where I fall currently! I trust my company and the lawyers to sort it accordingly.
