ILR PEO Self Employed

Post by Jbeez9 » Sun Sep 08, 2013 11:27 pm

I Am looking to Book a SET( 0) ILR from Tier1 as Self Employed.

I have heard that some of the PEO offices are not able to handle Self Employed Applications.

Does anybody know which Office would be the best and most efficient for Self Employed PEO Applicants?

Additional question:
Jbeez9 wrote:I have both a company and I am also Self Employed.

My self employed activities over the past 3 mos covers the income threshold that I need.

I plan on submitting only income info over the last 3 mos.

Do I need to submit any info on my company as well?

Just trying to make it as simple as possible for the assessor.

I believe Cardiff (click) would not deal with your application on a same day basis.

Another question:
Jbeez9 wrote:My Situation is as follows.

I am applying at PEO as Self employed. I also have a company. I am submitting only the income from my self employed activities from last 3 mos as it covers the threshold.

I have 321 Days total outside of UK.

I Have 130 days compassionate leave over 3 years (my father had cancer and later passed)

I Have 19 work days which are from activities related to my company.

What evidence will I need to provide?

So far as absences are <180 per 12 months period you should not require evidence.

Agree with D4109125.
I had a large amount of absence (311 in total, 180 in 1 of my visa years) and did not supply any letter/evidence

SET O section 5??

Post by Jbeez9 » Wed Sep 11, 2013 12:30 pm

Another quick question On the SET O form Section 5.

Do you need to fill this out if you don't have partner or dependents. Seems as if its only for such applicant, yet I can't find anything explicit that states otherwise.

Any help on this and other issues would be very helpful as I am scrambling to get my application done before my PEO on tuesday.

Section 7.11 and 6.1 on Application Time in UK

Post by Jbeez9 » Wed Sep 11, 2013 3:41 pm

Further to question in regards to time in UK and dates..

My Original tier 1 was issued Sep 08 / I arrived Nov 08

My Appointment for ILR is Sep 17.

In Section 7.11 the question asks how lon I have lived in UK..Shall I put when the visa was issued or the actual time here which is 4yrs 10.2 mo based on what I answered in section 6.1 which was 11 08.

I know I have a grace period before I enter that is not counted towards my absences but I just want to confirm that the period is counted towards my 5 years.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

The date of your first entry into the UK at the beginning of the period of stay on which this application is based.

Evidence of Economic Activity ILR

Post by Jbeez9 » Sat Sep 14, 2013 5:51 pm

I've seen differing views on this..
I have a PEO appointment apply ins self employed what evidence shall I include in my application for this 5 years economic activity.

Do they really ask for this or is previous income enough to show?

I plan on submitting my past 3 mos bank statements along with NI bills and accountant letters for this period.

Any help on this would be appreciated
