Past Earnings - Can I have a break in 12 months?

Post by gsurendra » Sun Mar 25, 2007 11:36 pm

I had changed my employer during the past 15 months. I had not received any payslip in Nov-06 when I left my previous employer. Also, I had encashed my part salary Cheque for Nov-06 paid by my new employer as my new Bank Account was not opened then.

Due to the inconvenience in proving my Nov-06 salary, I want to declare my 12 month salary in this manner

1) Mar-06 to Oct -06 (8 months)
2) Dec-06 to Mar-07 (4 months)

Can I do this?

Yes you can, provide all supporting documents - wage slips, bank stmts, IT and also letter from current employer for 2006-2007, I guess your tax year is April to March.

But in the FLR (HSMP) application there is no break down to divide the 12 months period. Do you think it is possible to divide the 12 month period in last 15 months like this

1) Mar-06 to Oct -06 (8 months)
2) Dec-06 to Mar-07 (4 months)

Is there any suggested guidelines or anyone applied like this and got it approved.

Please let me know

Thank you

1 month gap not acceptable

Post by gsurendra » Thu Mar 29, 2007 3:56 pm

Hi,

I spoke to the HSMP representative on phone. They don't allow 1 month gap. A couple of weeks gap is acceptable. So the question does not arise

Your payslip clock has been reset, you have to start the the count again till you have 12 months without break. That means a couple of months wait.
An eye for an eye will make the whole world blind.

(I coudn't get satifactory response So I am reposting)In contry application:
Application filed: 19/03/07
Application recieved by HSMP:21/03/07
Sent Email Regarding application on Status 27/03/07 & obtainted ref. no. 211**:
Application status: Waiting to be assigned to a case worker
Points provision
Qualifiacation
Postgradute degree from UK (35 points)
Past Earning
Earning claim prior to full-time study for the finacial year 2002-3 (30 points)
Age (20 points)
UK experience - UK study (5 points)
total points claimed 90

I have got one question to ask from respected Form members, I have started full-time study in UK on 29 September 2003 since then I am on Student visa. I have finished my Master degree on 01/03/06 and started another Master course in the UK soon after the previvious degree: new course start date is 4 April 2006. this period confusing me (1st March 06 till 4th April 2006) because I wasn't student at that time (about one month) but I was still on Student visa in the UK though. I claimed past earning prior to all these 29 Sepetember 2004.
Is that one month gap a problem or what?
thanks in advance
