ILR on 10 years stay basis where time spent under EEA route

Post by Universal soldier » Tue Sep 10, 2013 6:54 pm

This thread can be helpful for applicants applying ILR on 10 years long residence basis where they have spent part of their time under EEA route (holding EEA2 Residence permit). I am sure a lot of people have been asking similar question many times and there are not much member experiences/thread about that. Can someone make this thread sticky so that people under these circumstances write their experiences to serve present/future applicants too.
Regards.

i don't think we need it. Requirement is still same . time spend under EU rules you still need to show EEA national exercising treaty right.

example : 8 years student + 2 yrs EU routes = someone can apply under 10 yrs rule
UK Student Visa : 04/2004 - 09/2009
EEA Residence Card : 07/2010 - 7/2015
EU Settled Status: Confirmed on 16th July 2019
Naturalisation : Confirmed on 02nd Oct 2020
Passport Approval : 21st Feb 2021

Easiest and simplest way to deal this situation will be to just keep in mind the requirements for EEEA4 PR where 5 years of eea national evidences will need but here as in above mentioned illustration the similar evidences/documents will need of 2 years in order to secure ILR on 10 years basis.
