TIER 2 General- Job role requirement

Hi,

I am a manufacturing engineer and my company wanted to sponsor me. I received my COS last week and made an application in-person. In my COS , it states my job role as Manufacturing engineer and the job type as "2127 Production and process engineers". I meet the salary requirements for 2127 category.

I didn't receive a response on the same day, but received a letter stating that my application has been forwarded for further enquiries.

Did anyone had a similar issue as me. Please advice. Thank you in advance.

I was not asked any questions. I worked for my current employer for 5 months by the time I applied for my visa. My previous immigration category is TIER 1 PSW.

I have never been to PEO, not sure how it works really.

In the UKBA website it does say 90% of the decisions are made on the same day... Not sure how long is the usual dealy though

But please update us...
