schengen visa and the surrinder singh route

Post by richard2011 » Fri Sep 13, 2013 10:49 am

hello people

ceuta is a city which belongs to spain and i already know someone there who is willing to give me employment for 2.4 hours everyday.

i will have to apply for a schengen visa for my wife so where do i apply for this type of visa?

one problem is that i do not have a bank account in either morroco and spain and my british bank account has no cash in it because i took all the cash out for financial support.

For your first three months' residence, you do not need to be doing anything in particular. Thereafter, you will be expected to be a worker, student, self-sufficient. Your family member can be with you during all that time.

The amount of money you have as savings should not matter at all. For the first 3 months you do not need to be doing anything particular. But if you wish to move to the UK with your wife, then you will need to work. Be sure to keep records of everything so you have the needed evidence for moving to the UK.

Please please tell us how it goes in moving to ceuta, and whether your wife is given a difficult time by authorities. She should not in general.

Does your wife have any Schengen visa?

Schengen visa for Spain in London.

You do not need to be initially working.

Are you planning to move to Spain itself, or to Ceuta? (I am sure either is fine)

Assuming your wife lives in Morocco, she should visit the Spanish embassy there. She will need to show your passport and wedding certificate. The embassy is then obliged to grant her a residence permit.
