dual nationality for uk born baby?

Post by VisaAhmad10 » Fri Sep 13, 2013 4:10 pm

Hi,

We have a baby son who was born here in the UK last year. I am british and my wife is Pakistani.

Does our baby son have dual nationality from the mothers side or is he just British?

This is mainly in relation to visa fees. We are travelling to Pakistan soon but require a visa for our baby. The under 18 visa fees however are very high for british nationals (£140), but if our baby has dual nationality, it should be cheaper (£59) as mentioned on this site http://www.visadropbox.com/view.php?id=115.

Can anyone clarify this please?

Thanks
