may be because it was straightforward application otherwise people waiting over 4+ months here

I would suspect that most applications are pretty straight-forward given that the requirements are pretty straight-forward.

If you working continuously for 5 years then it' straightforward

but if you been exercising treaty right is various ways (switching jobs, employed/self-employed, job seeker ) then the case is complicated

I am in the same situation (have all P60s and pay slips).
Struggling to provide "proof on continuous residence for 5 years" - utility bills, bank statements, etc...

Uhh, this is exactly my husband's case
He is an EEA citizen from one of the A8 countries, exercising the treaty rights as self-employed and employed in these 5 years. He has had both self-employed and employed status at the same time for some periods, changing employed jobs several times, but he obtained the residence certificate(EEA1) as self-employed in 2010, though...

Hi guys, I sent my EEA3 on the 27 Jan 2014 and I have received a confirmation from home office with reference number but they said that the application can take up to 6 months.

I really need my passport to travel next month.

did any anyone apply this year and received his PR ??
also for EU citizen as french are they going to print PR certificate on my passport ??

your help is much appreciated.

Processing time

The time taken to process your application will depend on the type of application you make and how you submit it.

We deal with all applications within 6 months. Some applications will be resolved much sooner.

To help us to focus on deciding applications as soon as possible, please do not phone or write to ask about the progress of your application unless you need a passport or other document urgently.

If you apply in person for a registration certificate at our public enquiry office in Croydon, we will usually process your application on the same day.

you can request to send your passport. they will issue you PR in a A4 paper .

Please can you advise that requesting passport is not going to make any issue or delay my application

Hello Everyone,
My Wife (EEA National ) Need bit Information towards PR.

She came to UK on August 2008 and started University ( for last Year Of Education " Bachelor Degree " ),Degree completed late September 2009.

* Work started April 2009 (Working Part Time)" Still working with same Company Till today "
* WRS issued March 2010 ( But On Certificate its Mentioned Work Commenced April 2009 )

So When She is going to be Eligible for PR.
When She came we lived at one address for two years , then moved another address and still living here from last 3 years .

Our first address land lord was paying the bills and Council tax, all we were paying the rent.
how she is going to prove her first two years of living on that address, Only one Prove is that ( She Was issued WRS on that Address).

Would like to bit information on this :

Does PR comes on form of paper, card or stamped on passport ??

Depend . If they have passport in the passport if they don't in an A4 paper

I don't think there is a PR card through the European route. I know that people who get ILR through the British Immigration Rules get a card but I think all the EEA applications get a vignette placed in their passport, or on a separate A4 sheet.

You can't choose the card option as far as I know.

Why would it even matter...

if I want to get card i need to file EEA4 form.

The card is better than card , i mean card can last forever not like paper

I am an EU national and submitted by EEA3 application on 30th January. I have been working permanently in the UK with the same employer for six years now, so I thought mine would be quite a straight forward application.
I had been told it would take about 1 month, but still waiting for it...
Anyone has any experience with waiting times for EEA3 recently?

I have applied for PR last Febuary through a solicitor but my application was rejected, I am going to reapply now by myself. I want to ask you how did you guys posted your application? shall I use the royal mail special delivery by 9am envelope. And I will really appreciate any other suggestions for the application.

I received my Permanent Residence Card yesterday! I'm quite impressed with the process... I applied some time end of January (don't remember the exact date). 30th January received confirmation letter that my application had been received. 12th March I received all my supporting documentation back with a Home Office card that had a sticker with the Permanent Residence documentation. It's dated 4th March, so it took little over a month.

For posting the application, I did it through a special delivery 9am envelop - just wanted to make sure my ID card didn't get lost!

Hi, I know you guys are talking about processing times, but I want to ask a question about the eea3 applcation, I am applying as self sufficient so I am going to send my bank statements of 5 years, I want to ask you do I have to send all the bank statements of each year (like from January to December) or do I have to send few monthly satements of each year for 5 years. Please do reply if you can help me with this. Thank you
