Uk visa for new born baby

Hi all,

My query this time is about UK Visa for a new born baby. I'm on ILR granted in May 2011. My wife is on FLR(Spouse) valid until Mar 2014. Both of them are in India. Our new baby was born on 6-Sept 2013. I would like to apply for her UK visa but have few queries, listed as follows:

1. Whether she is eligible to apply for ILR direct or I will have to apply for FLR (dependant)
2. What form to use?
3. Whether she would need to get the biometric scan as she is not 5 yrs. old?

If baby was born in the UK, then baby is British.

Else, see also Children. Baby may be granted leave in line with mother's.

Children under 5 years old are exempted from giving their biometric information.

Baby: Born in India
Myself: Father on ILR
Wife: Mother on FLR expiring ( Mar 2014)

Question :

1. What form to use ( I could see VAF4A, VAF10, VAF2, SETF)
2. What appendix to use
