Urgent Inquiry about stay outside UK

I have got EC under HSMP and would like to know:

1. Does the 5 years period for ILR count from the visa stamp date or from the date of arrival in the UK? If from EC date then does this mean that I should enter the UK within 3 months of EC date?

2. How many days are permitted outside the UK in the first two years either consecutively or in total?

3. What are the rules for the time spent outside the Uk on business trips?
