Dependent's visa validity

Hi,

Can you please comment on visa validity of dependent in below scenario?

1) Main applicant (T2 ICT) + Dependent visa valid until Dec 2014.
2) Main applicant applies for Same day service to switch to Tier 2 General.

My question is, once main applicant moved to T2 General, what happens to the validity of Dependent visa? Under what time period should the dependents apply by post? Can they travel and reenter after main visa switch and before applying by post?

I believe that if her leave hasn't been curtailed, then she may remain in the UK on it. However, if she travels, then she may be refused entry into the UK because of her change of circumstances (321A).

Different rules apply?

Therefore, ask the UKBA for written clarification if she wishes to travel.
