BRP Card Error: Incorrect 'Valid Until' date

Hi All,

I have received my BRP Card day before yesterday along with my wife and daughter BRP cards.

The 'Valid Until' date on my wife and daughter BRP cards is '08-10-2016' but on my BRP card it is '08-10-2013'.

I think, it's printing mistake and my BRP card should also be valid till '08-10-2016'.

As per below link, I have send email to 'BRPError@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk'

But I have not received any response for my email, even no acknowledgement.

Has someone faced similar issue?
Could you please share your experience?

Also is there anything else I can do other than waiting for my email response?

of course it's a typo. you need to email ASAP to this address


If you find a mistake, you must email BRPError@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk within 10 working days of the date when you received the permit,

But I have not received any response for my email, even no acknowledgement.

That's unusual, usually you should get a response in a day or two, unless you sent it on a Friday evening. I would wait a couple of days and write back to the same email id, just requesting for a response / acknowledgement.

In the past I have written to, BRPDelivery@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk and gotten instant response in couple of hours.

Hi All,

thanks for your response.

I have received Home Office email today.

They have accepted it's printing mistake. They have asked me to send the BRPCard and cover letter explaining the issue.

Let's hope for best.
