10 years has elapsed

Post by unfair » Fri Oct 18, 2013 10:00 am

Hi All,

10 years has elapsed since I was refused a student visa based on the fact that I had used a false bank statement. (application was made outside the UK). I was naive enough to trust a respectable family member who duped me with a false document. I have ILR at the moment and hope to apply for naturalisation soon. I would like to know if I still need to declare this in my application seeing as 10 years has elapsed? I have had an unblemished record ever since.

Many thanks.

Two wrongs do not make a Right.
To avoid further potential charge of deception it would be safe to keep the facts and let it take its own course.
There is no such thing as Rehabilitation in UK.
Once docked you carry the docket for life. This is the reality.
