urgent please help

dear all,
please help me out. i am a tier2 dependant and have been offered a tier 2 job but the problem is that according to ukba website i can not switch in country and will have to go back to my home country which is some thing i want to avoid. i read that they are changing rules and now the dependants of tier 2 can switch in country too. is it true? is there any way i can switch from tier 2 dependant to tier 2 in country?
please advise urgently.

You cannot switch from PBS dependant to T2G in-country.

The recent rule change only allows switching in-country the other way round, from T2 migrant status to PBS dependant

many thanks for your reply. Is there any way I can switch in country to tier 2 general from tier 2 dependant? i do not want to go back to my home country.
