Hi

You need to get your parents in Ireland with you, if your parents are living in UK then they can apply for EU permit, Irish Embassy London .

you need to show, your parents are financial dependent on you.

Your parents do not have to do anything for their first 3 months in Ireland, I do not know how you plan to exercise your treaty rights in Ireland, either by being in employment or being self employed, but you know, you will be required to exercise your treaty rights after your initial 3 months elapsed.

When you start exercising your treaty right, you can submit an application for residence cards for your parents, the process will take about 6 months, on receipt of the application, provided the application is receivable, (necessary documents have been supplied) they will initially be sent a letter to go to their nearest GNIB office to be issued a residence card that will be valid for 6 months.

Your have a right of entry into Ireland, and for your first 3 months of arriving there, you are not expected to do anything, your dependants parents are also covered by these provisions and it does not matter how they have entered the country. Concentrate on exercising your treaty rights, soon as you get that under your belt the rest of the process would be a walk in the park.
