Tier2 ICT-Eligibility for ILR

Post by SDUK » Wed Nov 13, 2013 4:12 pm

Hi All,

I got my Tier 2 ICT visa in March 2011 and entered UK in May 2011. Would like to know if I complete my stay in UK for 5 years, am I eligible to apply for ILR. The reason am skeptical is that I heard Tier 2(ICT) after April 6th 2010 CANNOT or are not eligible for permanent stay.

The 5-year continuous period must include time spent as:

a Tier 2 (Intra company transfer) migrant under the Immigration Rules in place before 6 April 2010;

Hi

I think if you switch into tier 1 under 200k route then you can apply for ILR as sooon as you complete 5 years(ICT+ Tier 1 entrepreneur)

Best way out
