Need help on UK Tier 2 General and Dependents Visa(Urgent)

Post by n.bollepogu » Sat Nov 16, 2013 5:31 pm

Hi All,

Thanks for all your support for others. I have gone through few of the topics and impressed a lot about your service.

I am hoping that you would help me in suggesting on following queries.

I have got CoS from UK based IT company and I am planing to apply for Tier 2 general Visa and the same time for my dependents(wife and child) as well.

My Sponsor or employer has confirmed that they are providing maintenance for migrant on CoS.

So question is:
1.Will that be enough to apply for all of our Visas without submitting bank statements?

I am still working here in Bangalore and my current company has stated that they can release me as soon as i get Visa to UK.

So question is:
2.Do i need to submit my relieving letter from current company along with my supported documents for Visa?.

Expiry date of my CoS is on 12th Decmber,2013.

3.Do i need to apply within that date or travel before that date?.

Supported documents for all of us apart from Original passports:

Main Applicant:
1. CoS (Copy)
2. Educational qualification certificates (Original)-X to MCA
3. TB certificate from specified hospital

Dependent(Wife):
1. Marriage certificate
2. TB certificate from specified hospital

Dependent(Child):
1.Birth Certificate
2. TB certificate from specified hospital

Please suggest me if I am still required to ready with any other document like medical test or any.

Thanks
Naresh

the documents you need to submit are listed on the application form.

Do you score 10 points for English? (check the points based calculator)

Hi Manci,

Points from CoS:
1.For CoS: 30
2.Salary(>21300GBP): 20
3. Maintenance Tick in CoS: 10

English Language points:
4.I am an MCA(2007-2010) from NITK Surathkal.So I think this evidence is enough to secure 10 points.

5.TB Certificate from Specified hospital.

6.Offer letter scanned copy from Sponsor.

So my question:
Apart from above mentioned proofs,Do I need to submit any other supported documents Like
1.Medical certificate
2.Current employment salary slips
3.Form 16 for last 3 years AND
4.Relieving Letter from current company.

I am planning to apply for my dependents also same time with me.

Dependent(Wife) :
1. Marriage Certificate(Original)
2. TB certificate from specified hospital

Dependent(Child):
1.Birth Certificate
2. TB certificate from specified hospital

My wife passport was done after our marriage and my name got endorsed as spouse in that.

My name and my wife's name are endorsed as parents in my child's passport as well.

and One more thing I got separate Maintenance letter from sponsor for my dependents as well.

Here my question is:
Do i still need to submit any other documents for my dependents?

Thanks,
Naresh

you must check the points based calculator to see if you score 10 points for English

I checked in UK BA site Point based calculator and got 10 points for provided info.
If these points are okay then no other documents are required,correct?

the SOC (Standard Occupational Classification) code is the number that is stated in the CoS on the "job type" line.

for SOC code 2136 and 40 hours/week working you would need a salary of 40/39 * 29800 = 30565.

21300 is not suffcient

Expiry date of my CoS is on 12th Dec,2013 but i am still getting ready with all required documents.

manci has replied to my previous post that i should apply before 12th Dec.

I am planning to submit my application and even dependents(wife and daughter) applications also on 2nd or 3rd Dec.

my question is:
will that be fine if i can submit our applications at VFS office on these specified dates(2nd or 3rd Dec)? or should our visas process get completed before that 12th Dec?

I am so confused and nervous due to this expiry date,please help me ASAP.

you must apply before the expiry date of the CoS and can only travel from the start date on the visa

from the UKBA website:

[What is the date of your application if you are applying from outside the UK?

The date of your application is the date when your application fee is paid to us. This will be the date shown on your payment receipt, which depends on how you paid for your visa application - for example, at a visa application centre or online.
