Immigration appeal won, now what?

Post by gulstan » Wed Nov 27, 2013 8:06 am

My husband and I just won our immigration appeal for his UK settlement visa.

I understand it takes a bit of time for things to filter through and for him to be called to the UK embassy to be issued his visa.

However, in the year it took for the appeal to be heard we decided to do a bit of travelling and are currently half way around the world from his home country.

Having to return to his home country to collect the visa would be quite an added expense. Does anyone know if we can arrange to collect it from the UK embassy where we currently are?

Many thanks!

No, but it may take at least 8 weeks to get notification so there is no need to rush back home. Where did he apply?
