UK spouse in ireland

Good day every one.Am a non eu national and am married to a UK citizen(by birth).we currently live together in UK and am on spouse visa in UK.we are planing to move to ireland for few months in order to get a residency card in ireland for my self in order to apply for the irish medical counsil to get an exemption for me from the english language requirments as am a doctor.my question is how much money should be in our account to say that my wife is a self suffiecnt person and how long the process will take from the day we arrive in ireland till the day i get my 5 years residency card.thank you all in advance.
