Asking UKBA for Passport for Identity Purpose!

Hello

I have made a fresh application for Tier1 on 13th of the last month. Now, I am applying for the IELTS exam, but I have not got any ID with me. I am just wondering, will it be possible for me to ask UKBA to provide my passport for identity purpose?Please!

Hi Dalaremal,

I don't think you can do this as HO dont give any document for such cases.
you can use your DVLA or back home id card if you have one.

Back home ID is not accepted here, if your not from EEA.

Asking for the return of your passport before your application to remain in the UK is decided
If you need your passport for identification reasons, such as opening a bank account, before we decide your application, we will return your passport. You should send your passport back to us as soon as you have used it to confirm your identity. We will not be able to decide the outcome of your application until you have returned it to us. Obviously this may delay the decision of your application.
