income req for FLR(M) for wife of long residence SET(LR)

Post by mycanal1 » Tue Dec 03, 2013 4:44 am

I am applying for Long Residence SET(LR) for myself, but for my wife I need to apply flr(M), she has been my dependent from last 8 year. recently PSW dependent on point base.
My query is: Do we need to new income req of £18600 or old less requirement. our rent is £350. How much income per year or last 6 month we need to have.
what document we should provide for income req.
I got contradictory reply from some immigration lawyer about income req. some said, we must satisfy new £18600 but few say old pre 18 July 2012 condition will apply. I emailed home office but they replied with copy paste reply of their FAQ web page. Do i fill up flr(M) or new FLR(FP).
we have 2 UK born children age 6 and 2, but we r not including them in flr(M), as I hope, after my ILR , i can register them using MN1 form for register them as British. please guide [/b]

Old rules, no financial requirement, settlement immediately after FLR(M) granted on SET(M) under rule 287(a)(I)(d). Also, correct about children. So far as around £260 Net per week is left after deducting rent you should be fine. 3 months wage slips and corresponding bank statements. Claim benefits for children as these can be considered as income. Child benefit in your name, tax credits joint.
