Schengen tourist visa query

Hi ,

I would like to apply for schengen visa along with my mother and sister from India.
Mother is a house-wife/unemployed and sister is a student.

I could not find any mention of alternative to bank statement & tax letters for my case. I will be the lead applicant.

Also for my case please let me know if form 16 will be good for 3 years tax proof.

Please anyone kindly help.
