Rights of WP holders

Hello there

Can anyone please tell me what are the rights of a work permit holder??

I came on WP and my salary was supposed to be £30k but i am only being paid £20k. How does legally this company stands?? and what can i do about it???

I dont want to lose this job either, so i accepted £20k.
Please advise.

isnt that a deception?

you should seek legal advice. 10k is a huge gap.

The answer is simple , you were told you gonna get paid a gross salary of 30k but they didnt mention that the net salary will be 20k. :)

The salary in UK is usally quoted before tax but when they actually pay you its far less because of taxes so if you get £20K after tax then it sounds about just right
