DLR Extension Old Rules

Dear Friends
My family had been granted DLR in 2010 for 3 years and in the meantime myself and Uk born son been got British citizenship but daughter and wife need to extend the DLR for another 3 years rather than goin 5 years dependent visa.
Need help and also how long home office usually take for established cases of DLR
