Post ILR:-Need to inform UKBA about name change for kid ?

I am due to go for ILR on 3rd Feb, I am on ICT-Tier2 visa valid till 8 Feb-14, my kid born in UK has got Dependent Visa, valid till 8 Feb-14. Next week I am applying for his passport with new name (under name change process).

My Query :- As after my ILR, my kid would be eligible to apply for citizenship with new name. But do I need to inform UKBA, to get new BRP card for him ? Or Can I straightway go for his Citizenship ?
