OCI for Parents + baby

Hi all,

We were naturlaised on Jun 2013 and applying for OCI this month. Our baby was born british and never had any INDIAN passport. I have gone through the requirement and found it bit confusion. Any help for clarification will be helpful.

1. Affidavit for baby. - I read in many post that some people didnt submit but received OCI
2. Do we need to submit photocopies of our INDIAN proof for baby? - As we are submitting for OCI together as family I think this may not be necessary. But I thought to check in the forum anyway.

Vidya,

1. Full Birth certificate
2. Parents British Passports
3. Marriage certificate
4. Parents Indian Passport surrender certificates
5. Parents OCI registration booklets (When they already hold OCI)

Affidavit is not required when both parents are eligible for OCI . But as many have observed depends on which quirk is on the counter.
