spouse visa accommodation requirement

Post by zchay3e » Sat Dec 21, 2013 10:58 am

Wonder if someone could advise. I am sponsoring my wife for a visa. I rent a studio flat, which has a kicthen, bathroom and a bedroom (about 250 sq ft). The landlord provided me with a letter saying the flat is for my exclusive use and they are happy for my wife to join me. But reading through forum, some suggest you get a survey of the size of the studio. Is this mandatory? Can I just provide photos instead?

I only think a survey is required when there's a risk of overcrowding. I submitted my tenancy, landlord letter and proof of address.

Just send measurements and photos of your studio flat. That would be enough
