child british registration

Post by bollyakinlu » Mon Dec 30, 2013 8:21 pm

Please is it possible for a child that has indefinite leave to remain to be registered as a British Citizenship? If the father is already a British citizen but the mother is not and they are not married. The child is 11 year and has been here for 5 years and has indefinite leave to remain. The father is a British citizen but not married to the mum.

Will appreciate to read from your guys

Thanks

As the child is 11 years old, they were clearly born before 01.07.2006. Have a read of this UKBA webpage, which gives useful information relevant to your question.

Is the father named on the child's birth certificate?
