Multiple Case Workers Per Case??

Post by fortordtwobucks » Sat May 05, 2007 10:57 pm

Hi All:

Reference Number: 215***
Application received: 27 April 2007

I called the HSMP team on May 3 (7 days after they received my application) and the man on the phone said that a decision has been made but it the process is for two more case workers to review my case before a final decision is made. I asked if this was normal and he said "yes". I also asked if such a quick time for a decision to be made is a good sign and he said "generally yes".

Therefore I have two questions:

1) Is it normal for a case to be reviewed by multiple case workers?
2) Are cases decided in a short period (under 10 days) usually approved?

Thank you very much for your help!

Matt

Yes all cases are reviewed by two more people other than case worker.

Yes cases can be done in short periods and those are generally people whose docs are very clear. So I think you should be looking forward for a positive response from them soon if all goes well.

I don't think they give results over the phone.

sometimes some case workers tell "positive" decisions on phone. Some members told this in the same forum.
