How to make sure correct version of Set(O) form on your appo

Can we track if UKBA is about to change form in next 3-4 days ? This is to avoid last minute changes as if you are ready with all documentation/form and you realized one day before your appointment about new version. Is there any way we can avoid such a chaotic situation ? I am sure there has to be some way out for that.

the old form is valid up to at least 3 weeks after the new form has been announced
