Child Benefit For UK born child before ILR

Hi Gurus

I have a query regarding the child benefit for my little one born before my ILR was granted.
my self and my wife were granted ILR 2 months after my child was born. I have applied for the babys brtish citizenship registration under section1(3) using mn1 form.
can I apply for child benefit now? am I eligible to apply? if i apply for child benefit is it going to slow down or affect my childs british citizenship registration?
Kindly help please.

You can claim child benefits and it will not have any effect on citizenship application.
