Tier 2 - Can earn money online ?

I am on a tier 2 general visa and working full time for the employer specified on my visa. Would earning money online ( doing surveys, cash back sites etc.) in my spare time come under self-employment?

Would that be against the visa rules?

Yes, you cannot make money as self employed and if you do, your visa will be revoked.

What I best suggest you to is either switch to Tier 1 Entrepreneur or setup a company back home in your country and have online money all debit to your own bank account in your country and pay your online tax there.
