Best way of getting back the documents

Post by mohan76 » Wed May 09, 2007 4:31 pm

Hi friends,

Can you share your experience and suggest which is the best way of getting back the documents?

1) is it better to arrange for courier pick up ?. If yes then how is that done

2) just leave it to HSMP people to send it back by airmail?......is it safe and how fast we receive it ?.......can we track it ?......

request you to suggest

mohan

Contact www.mbesheffield.co.uk they charge 20pounds for collecting your docs and then Fedex/UPS charges to send back the docs...just send them a mail and a guy called Frank will reply you back with all the details.

Hello Mohan,

I think you can leave it to royal mail or airmail.
Yes. There is a slight risk involved.

Airmail may take 3 - 4 weeks for some cases.
But I think 99 out of 100 people are getting the docs back safely through airmail and most of them got in 5 to 10 days.

But you can arrange pickup for your peace of mind.
It costs you around 5000 Rs. Check it out.

FYI: My airmail took 3 weeks time to reach me.

Hi Everybody,
Thanks a lot for ur advise. I have decided to go ahead with the airmail or royal mail and just be patient. I have scanned all my originals and also taken a color photocopy before sending it across to HO. Also let me know, whether we have to mention somewhere or in our covering letter that I have not arranged for the pick-up of the document or please send it by AIRMAIL OR ROYAL MAIL itself. We have to mention it ?

Sorry to bother few more queries related to Form Filling :

Q 28 IN FORM: Please insert the relevant country code form the guidance notes:
What we have to mention here ?........Is it +91.

Q30 IN FORM: Amount you earned:
We have to convert our INR into pound and then mention it. If yes then where we have to mention the conversion rate.

Thank You Friends
Mohan

Hi Mohan76,

As per my understanding:

1) The country code will be D ( If applying from India)
2) The amount earned will be total salary claimed for 12 months in INR.

Senior members pls share your views.

Take the courier option.... don't rely on Airmail... extremely unreliable. I have been waiting for the last 4 weeks.
