OCI | Laminated documents

Hello,

I will be applying for OCI in the near future.
HCI website says that they will not accept laminated documents.
My marriage certificate and my daughter's birth certificate are both laminated.
Will this be a problem? Has anyone tried submitting laminated documents with their OCI application?

however unless they need to see the originals and assuming the laminated document produces a good quality copy i "think" it should be fine for submission.
